nanoETXexpress is the standard compact COM solution created with the detailed requirement of customers designing for the fist-held, ultra mobile application space in mind - not only the COM Express™ pin-out Type 1 compatibility, but the 55 mm x 84 mm footprint as well.

Based on extensive research, the nanoETXexpress specification has been developed to be the new “nano” form factor COM Express™ solution. The nanoETXexpress specification is fully compatible to the COM Express™ Type1 pin-out Specification with respect to the positioning and assignment of the contacts as defined by the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group (PICMG®) and is comprised of two documents:

This specification is the third initiative from the members of the COM Industrial Group in an on-going effort to keep the features of next generation Computer-On-Modules closer to the market's needs.

The worldwide members of the COM Industrial Group (COM-IG) have joined together to create and share information on the COM-IG site - a place intended open and independent exchange.

• Maintain the nanoETXexpress specification
• Provide an always current downloadable revision of the nanoETXexpress specification
• Offer a list of all nanoETXexpress module products and supporting companies
